TRIBUTE ON THE ONE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF FRANCK BERRIER'S DEATH

Franck Berrier passed away exactly one year ago Saturday. His children will kick off the event Friday and shirts will be auctioned off to benefit Belgian Cardiology League.

This Saturday will mark the one-year anniversary of Franck Berrier's death from heart failure. We will not let this go unnoticed on Friday in the home match against AA Gent. His wife and children will kick off the game and our supporters are planning a tribute in the C-stand.

In addition, several shirts will be available for sale. All proceeds will go to the Belgian Cardiology League. "Franck's family moved from Belgium to France and while cleaning up, Franck's wife came across several shirts. She contacted us to ask if we could do something with several shirts that Franck had collected over the years and that had not yet been donated or auctioned off for charity. There are shirts of himself but also of former teammates or opponents. Think of shirts of the Red Devils, Lille, Standard, Nantes, ... They are all auctioned and the proceeds go to the Belgian Cardiology League," said Bram Keirsebilck.

Bidding on the shirts can be done starting Saturday at the link below. The auction runs until the weekend of September 3/4. Then we play on the field of Standard, also an ex-club of Berrier.
