JACK HENDRY TO CLUB BRUGGE

Jack Hendry leaves with immediate effect to Club Brugge. The Scottish defender reached an agreement with the national champion and Club pays the step-up clause, so KVO had no choice but to let him leave.

Gauthier Ganaye: "When we lifted the option on Jack Hendry at Celtic we also had to reach a personal agreement with the player. That is what happened, but with the condition that Jack had a fixed step-up clause in his contract. Without that clause it would have been impossible to come to an agreement with him. Club Brugge are now willing to pay that clause and it was Jack's express wish to go to Club, where he can play Champions League. It's a bit unfortunate that this happens on the last transfer day but a contract is there to be respected and we don't want to stand in the way of the wish of a player who has always given himself one hundred percent here either."
