PL - GAME DAY 3: SPORTING CHARLEROI - KV OOSTENDE 1 - 3

For the difficult away game at Charleroi, coach Vanderhaeghe gave confidence to the team that won from Mechelen. Only the fit Sakamoto took the place of the suspended Albanian. At the home team, the not fully fit Zorgane got a place on the substitute bench. His place was taken by Gholizadeh.
The coastal team started the game eagerly with a chance for Amade, who kicked over, after which the ball-fast Ambrose set the home goalie to work. At the other end, Kayembe's tap in was disallowed for offside. The Kustboys responded with Ambrose who again put Koffi to work. The home team grabbed hold of their hair when Hubert twice intervened brilliantly on a header and a close attempt by Andreou. The goal fell just before the half hour on the other side. After a nice combination, Ambrose found D'Haese and he beat Koffi with an over-angle blast (0-1). The home team responded through Nkuba who kicked wildly wide. Charleroi looked for the equalizer but Tanghe and co went into the break with a small lead.
The home team's first full-fledged attack was an immediate hit. Kayembe found the unmarked Nkuba in front of goal and Hubert had no chance (1-1). The Haines pressed the gas pedal and the Coastal Boys were forced to back down. Gholizadeh kicked via an Eastern leg onto the roof of the visiting goal. The home team performed the forcing but it was the visitors who took the lead again.  Atanga sent Bätzner into the lane and the young German slid the ball past a chanceless Koffi (1-2). With fifteen minutes to go, Vanderhaeghe made two substitutions, as did his Walloon opponent, who threw all his assets on the table. The home team tried in the closing stages but this did not create much danger. In the absolute, the substitute Gueye went for Koffi but his attempt was blocked in the corner. The next counter-attack did hit the mark. The quick as lightning Ndicka rushed past his opponents and placed the round thing in the corner (1-3).
