KV OOSTENDE - CERCLE BRUGES 2 - 1

The Coastal Boys manage to turn a deficit into a victory in the final quarter.

In a well-filled Diaz Arena, Cercle started the match with passion. The Association threatened with a shot by Lopes and a chance for Vanhoutte, with Hubert winning the duel. The first fifteen minutes were for the visitors, while the home team struggled to create fluent combinations after having the ball. Vitinho came close to scoring the opening goal, but Fortes' back saved. Just past the half hour mark, the coastal boys threatened for the first time with a plucked ball for Didillon on an attempt by the infiltrating Ndicka. Hubert was beaten with a hard drive by Lopes, but the ball went just wide. Just before the coffee Lopes kicked an inswinging ball far wide of Hubert's maw.

After the break Blessin made a change as Rocha stayed in the dressing room for Tanghe. The first chance after the break was for the visitors, but Van der Bruggen kicked the ball right into Hubert's hands. The first real chance for the home side came on the hour. Ambrose's shot went wide of the bewildered Didillon. On the other side of the pitch Somers kicked the ball into the goal via Hubert after a quick changeover (0-1).. NGueye managed to head the ball past Didillon (1-1).. In the final moments of the game, the game turned in the advantage of the Coastboys when Amade Didillon beat them with a header (2-1).. The Association could not react anymore and the hard-fought points stayed in Oostende.
