KVO TAKES STRIKER FROM NANCY

KVO has strengthened its team with striker Mickaël Biron (23). The striker comes over from AS Nancy and signs a contract for 4 seasons. He will be loaned out to Nancy for two more seasons.

Mickaël Biron landed at Épinal in 2019 from his native Martinique, in the lower French national series. There, he immediately stood out for his speed and goal-scoring prowess. So much so that second division club AS Nancy picked him up after just one season. At professional club Nancy, Biron didn't need much of an adjustment period. In his first season at Nancy, he scored twelve goals. It earned him the title of club's top marksman.

"Mickaël has a great future ahead of him and that's why I'm bringing him to KVO," according to Gauthier Ganaye. "However, he only played one season of professional football so it is better for him that he stays in his familiar environment in Nancy for a while first. After that he will be ready to make the step to the Belgian first division. The advantage of having several clubs is that we can map out a real path for a player. This transfer also shows that we are not only busy with next season, but also with the further future. In the meantime we remain busy strengthening the core for next season. More news on that will follow very soon."
