TRAINING MATCH: KVO - CLUB BRUGGE 1-3

For the Coastal Boys, the season is over. But that doesn't mean it's time for a vacation. This afternoon a practice match against Club Brugge was played under a bright spring sun, with some 500 subscribers in the stands. Club Brugge came into the game with a strong team, with an eye on the Champions' Play-Offs. Yves Vanderhaeghe opted for an experimental team, including guys who could count on fewer playing minutes this season and one test player.

After about half a minute, Brugge scored the first goal of the game with their first chance. De Ketelaere got the ball in front of goal and worked it in. Oostende fought their way back into the match after a nice action by Batzner who reached Ambrose. The latter lobbed the ball over the Bruges goalkeeper and the goal line. Both teams played a few chances together. Albanese even briefly tested the goal frame from close range.

In the second half we got a repeat of the first half. The Bridge players again quickly found their way to goal. This time it was Adamyan who headed the ball in. After a few substitutions on both sides, it was Ricca who finally deepened the score to 1-3. He headed a cross past Badu. This was also the final score in this match.
