ACHILLES TENDON TEAR FOR INDY BOONEN

Indy Boonen fell out injured yesterday in the game against AA Gent. The verdict is harsh: a torn Achilles tendon. The midfielder will be operated today by the famous doctor Declercq in Antwerp. After that, he will have to go through rehabilitation, according to club doctor Backaert:

"We're not sticking a duration on that. Indy is a young and healthy player and we are confident he will return stronger."
