Preview:

Saturday afternoon, a six-point game will be played at Het Kiel between two teams in need of a three-point lead. Beerschot will play one of their last assets, while the Kustboys want to stay out of the relegation zone with a win.

For our next opponent, the game against Coastal Boys will be very important, as the Kielse Ratten are in last place with 9 points. The team of Argentinean Javier Torrente has played one game less (the game against Standard was cancelled this week due to a police strike), but they claim a 0-3 forfeit victory.
The Rats are 8 points behind the next pursuer Zulte Waregem. KV Oostende follows on 11 points. Provided a win Beerschot can close the gap a little.

Last Saturday Beerschot lost 1-0 against KAS Eupen. Torrente played with the following team: Vanhamel, Radic, Lemos, Bourdin, Halaimia, Dom, Vaca, Caicedo, Smet, Suzuki and Shankland. Sanyang and Soumaré were substitutes.
Torrente were unable to count on their star players Holzhauser, Pietermaat and Van den Bergh for the game at Eupen. The trio were suspended from the stands.
In the first round, KVO won by 3-1 against Beerschot. Gueye, Capon and Amade scored for KVO, while Soumaré saved the proverbial honour for the team from Antwerp.
