Preview:
Saturday instead of Sunday we go to Eupen for the last league game of the season. Because the Coastal Boys grabbed a point against Seraing, both KVO and Eupen are sure of retention. Except for the position in the standings, there is little at stake tomorrow.
Eupen lost their previous match against KRC Genk 5-0. At Eupen, Carlos Embalo (left winger) and Benoît Poulain (central defender) are injured. Jordi Amat (central defender) is suspended.
At KVO, Makhtar Gueye is suspended as he picked up his tenth yellow card against Seraing.
The first match between KVO and Eupen ended 2-1. For the Coastal Boys, Gueye and Bätzner scored. For the Pandas, Prevljak scored.
This week marked exactly nine years since KVO promoted to first division after a 1-0 win against Eupen. Central defender Baptiste Schmisser scored the winning goal for KVO. Next season will be the tenth consecutive season in first division.
