Preview:

Saturday KVO goes to the city of students and beer: Leuven, where OH Leuven will be the opponent. OH Leuven started the season well with 9 out of 15. It lost against Club and Antwerp but won against Kortrijk, Westerlo and Standard.

Incoming/outgoing transfers:
OH Leuven saw its playmaker Mercier leave in the off-season, and Shengelia, Rezaei and Romo also left 'den Dreef'. On the other hand, OHL took an experienced playmaker away from relegated Beerschot with Holzhauser and they reinforced themselves extensively with goalkeeper Cojacaru (Dnipro), Pletinckx (Zulte Waregem), Thorsteinsson (Aarhus), Mendyl (Schalke), Gamboa (Praia), Dom (Beerschot) and recently Ricca, Vlietinck (both Club Brugge), Buksa (Genoa) and Gonzalez (Braga).

Previous match:
Last week OH Leuven went on to win 1-3 at Standard's field. In the first half it was under but from two chances it purred two goals, talk about efficiency.
OHL entered with following players: Cojacaru, Pletinckx, Ricca, Mendyl (Dom), Patris, Al Tamari, Thorsteinsson (Vlietinck), De Norre, Malinov (Gamboa), Maertens (Ouedraogo) and Nsingi. The latter got red after 50 minutes but with ten men OHL never threatened again.
Goals: Thorsteinsson, Nsingi and Al Tamari.

Player News OHL:
Striker Nsingi is suspended after his red card at Standard against KVO. Perhaps one of the new strikers (Buksa or Gonzalez) will make his debut Saturday. Midfielder Maertens could count on interest from Club Brugge.

Noteworthy:
Goalkeeper Cojacaru is the goalkeeper whose kick-outs most often reach a teammate. Guillaume Hubert is third in that statistic.
OH Leuven won twice from KVO last season, in Leuven it was then 1-0 after a free kick goal by Mercier.
