Remarks: For Capon and Ndicka this match comes too early, they will normally be ready to play for the home match against Seraing. Atanga is ill. Some other players have been suffering from illness or ailments in the past week. Tomorrow it will be decided who is fit enough to play and which three players are still missing from the selection.

Friday night we head to the mythical Dudenpark to play leader Union. The Brussels natives won their previous match against OH Leuven with 1- 4. Deniz Undav is the man in form at Union. He scored a hat-trick against Leuven. In the league Undav is the top scorer with 24 goals. His striker brother Dante Vanzeir is still suspended. He received a five match suspension after he punched Charleroi player Ozornwafor in the face.
The first match between KVO and Union ended in an embarrassing 1 - 7. With three matches to go, it is an important match for KV Oostende. If KVO wins and Seraing loses, the Coastal Boys are sure of retention. Union wants to get the three points again with an eye on the title. Together with Club Brugge, they are already sure of the Champions Play-Offs and if they can beat KVO on Friday, they are even sure of first place in the regular league. Never before has a promotor achieved this.
Note that some statistics also play in favor of KVO: KVO won the last three away games each time and Union failed to win its last two home games (0-1 against STVV and 0-0 against Eupen).
For the Coastal Boys, Ambrose, Bätzner and Rocha Santos are on one card of suspension.
