The Diaz Arena is a realisation of Bouwgroep Versluys and numerous subcontractors. KV Oostende could count on the grant of an investment subsidy from the Flemish Government for the realization of a multifunctional football stadium with a social return as laid down in the decision of the Flemish Government dated 4 April 2014.

Supporters of the visiting club can enter through gate 9. This is accessible via the gravel parking lot in the Northlaan, right next to the entrance of the Sea'rena. Parking is possible on the gravel parking according to availability or in the surrounding streets.

On match days there is no public parking for supporters. Regular parking is possible in the surrounding streets.
