KV Oostende is hot again! After the takeover by the American group PMG, the Kustboys are doing well. With an eye on the bright future that awaits KVO and the many challenges post-corona, we are looking for a Kustboy/girl to expand the team of permanent employees in the Ticketing/Fanshop department.

Who are we looking for?

Customer focus is your second nature and with your hands-on mentality and enthusiastic personality you help each fan with their questions, keeping a commercial mindset in mind. You are a team player who communicates fluently and cooperates with other colleagues. You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and think proactively.

What is your job content?

On the one hand, this means that you will master the ticket system in the short term and continue to develop it. You actively participate in the sale of both tickets and merchandising, with special attention to customer orientation and customer friendliness. During the shop's closing hours you process administrative documents, support the commercial department of the club or help think about future marketing campaigns. In addition, you will further develop the Membership story that KVO has recently started and wants to develop further.

What qualities do you need to have?

+ Being a fan of KV Oostende is an absolute plus.

+ You are people-oriented, stress-resistant and polite.

+ You are empathetic and help find solutions to the problems of our supporters.

+ High degree of flexibility and availability in function of competitions (weekend work).

+ Experience with event organization or Ticketing systems is a plus.

+ You are interested in football and more specifically in aspects such as merchandising and ticketing.

+ You speak excellent Dutch, a good knowledge of French and English is a plus.

+ You have an affinity with digital tools and follow the evolutions in this field

What do we offer you?

+ The opportunity to take the (services of the) club to an even higher level.

+ The chance to develop yourself in a fast growing club.

+ An open-ended contract (full-time).

+ Competitive remuneration package.

Are you the right candidate for this job? Send your cv to [email protected] and who knows, you might soon be the new face in our club.

Will you join our KVO steward team?

After rain comes sunshine 😉

Also in football we expect that soon, after the harsh Covid-period, it will be possible to play with public again.

That is why we are already taking steps to be able to receive our supporters professionally, customer-friendly and also safely.

If you are someone who can guide people and/or want to contribute to safety at football matches, then you are probably the right person.

Are you at least 18 years old, do you like to work in a team and make new friends? Then you are the M/F/X we are looking for!

What does the KVO-Steward team have to offer you?

  • You are closely involved in the operation of KV Oostende
  • You will be part of a team of motivated, sociable volunteers of all ages
  • You will be provided with appropriate work clothes and a snack/drink.
  • Extra activities are organized during the year to promote the team spirit.
  • There is no contractual obligation to attend. It is about helping on a voluntary basis (with volunteer compensation) in the service of KVO and its supporters.

You will receive short, interesting internal training on all aspects of safety at football matches. Experience is not a requirement.

Five training matches under supervision (with remuneration) in which you are already part of the team, complete the training.
