KV OOSTENDE: THE ONLY COASTAL PRO TEAM IN BELGIUM

KV Oostende is a football club in the Belgian first division. The club was founded in 1981 after a merger between AS Oostende and VG Oostende and plays in the colors of both teams (green-red-yellow). This color combination is unique in the Belgian first division and the club is also the only professional club located on the Belgian coast. The stadium is situated 500 meters from the sea, which is unique in Belgium.

In 1993 KVO was promoted to first division for the first time, but for many years it would be a yo-yo team that shuttled between first, second and even third division. But since the promotion to the highest level in 2013, KVO has played continuously in the first division. That means that next season the club will play continuously at the highest level for ten years in a row.

In 2020, the club was acquired by American investors. Their philosophy is to attract data-driven young, undervalued players, upgrade them and then sell them lucratively. This model should allow the club to grow year after year and thus be a stable, healthy club. The first season under the new investors was already a success, because under the leadership of the German trainer Alexander Blessin, KVO finished in fifth place in the rankings.

KV Oostende is also known for its lively VIP community. The after parties in the VIP show room are real experiences. After the match against the neighbors of Club Brugge, no fewer than 2000 people gathered for a VIP after party. But also apart from the competition games, the club organizes events to allow the commercial partners to network. The KVO stadium - the Diaz Arena - is also a perfect location to organize events.

KVオステンドはベルギー1部リーグのサッカークラブです。1981年にASオステンドとVGオステンドの合併により設立され、両クラブの色を使用しています（緑・赤・黄）。この色の組み合わせはベルギー1部リーグでは他にはなく、また当クラブはベルギーの海沿いにある唯一のプロチームです。スタジアムが海から500メートルのところにあるのも、ベルギーではここだけです。

KVOは1993年に初めて1部リーグに昇格しましたが、長年にわたり1部と2部、時には3部の間を行ったり来たりしていました。しかし2013年に1部に昇格してからはずっと、KVOは1部リーグでプレーしています。つまり来期で1部リーグ10年目のプレーとなります。

2020年にアメリカ人投資家が当クラブを買収しました。投資家の信条は、データに基づき、若く過小評価されている選手を引き抜き、こうした選手を育て、そして彼らを高く売却することです。本モデルにより当クラブは年々成長して、安定した健全なクラブになるはずです。新たな投資家の下での最初のシーズンは、ドイツ人監督アレクサンダー・ブレッシンの指揮によりKVOは5位という成績で終えたことから、すでに成功を収めたと言えます。

KVオステンドはVIPコミュニティが活発なことでも知られています。VIPルームでのアフターパーティは申し分のない経験になります。近くの街にあるクラブブルージュとの試合後は、2,000人以上がVIPアフターパーティに集いました。当クラブは公式戦だけでなく、取引企業のネットワーク形成のためのイベントも開催しています。KVOのスタジアム、ディアスアリーナもイベント開催にうってつけの場所です。
