FIRST PRACTICE MATCH AT KOEKELARE

Our first practice match takes place on June 22 at 19h in Koekelare and is part of the 40th anniversary of the club. We are pleased to announce that we will be playing this match with 400 supporters present.

On June 22nd 2021 it will be exactly 40 years ago that the fusion club KV Oostende was founded. It is therefore no coincidence that we will play our first friendly match on that very day. VV Koekelare has the honour to host our Coastal Boys that day. Koekelare is an ambitious third-provincial side that is being trained by our full-time youth coach Wesley Deschacht. Next season they want to play for the title in the third province.

After a week of training, this will be the first practice match in the preparatory campaign for KVO. Especially for the 40th anniversary KVO will play in a retro outfit. More news on how it will look like will follow later but it will be (especially for the somewhat older supporters) a nostalgic trip down memory lane. The kick-off will also be given by two former KVO icons. The special match equipment will be auctioned for the benefit of the supporters federation Kustboys.

And last but not least, the match between VV Koekelare and KV Oostende will be attended by 400 supporters and this in conformity with the applicable coronation measures. VV Koekelare has 100 tickets available for their fans, our subscribers are entitled to 300 tickets.
